Birds with Fruit - in Italian 'Uccelli con frutta' This decorative panel has a beautiful design of birds feeding from an urn overflowing with fruit. The blues and yellows are typical of the colours used on traditional Sicilian hand painted ceramics. These tiles are made by hand in Sicily, using the traditional methods which have been handed down from father to son for centuries. They are slightly thicker, heavier and have a more rustic, less smooth surface than average tiles. Once the tiles are ready they are then hand painted with designs which are indicative of the sun soaked island in southern Italy. The tiles are suitable for inside or outside and there are numerous ways in which they can be incorporated into the interior design of your house. Inside, they can be inserted into tiles of a complimentary colour on walls or floors anywhere in the house, including bathrooms. This decorative panel also makes an ideal splash-back in the kitchen, or, you can simply have it framed and hung on the wall as piece of art. Outside the panel can again be incorporated as a decoration in your patio tiles or it can be fixed onto any wall as a stunning decoration. Although it is not necessary to grout these tiles in some circumstances, it is advisable to do so if they are used in conjunction with other tiles or are being used in a bathroom or kitchen. This item is made to order and takes a minimum of three weeks. As this decorative ceramic tile panel is made by hand from beginning to end, each one will vary slightly, but, each will be totally unique.
